Expedition Skills Course

This qualification is valid for 3 years and recognised globally. This 2 day course covers a range of topics such as weather forecast interpretation, layering and clothing, personal kit, group kit and (everyone's favourite) navigation. The vast majority of our practical time will be spent practicing an assessing various different navigational approaches and tactics, from the basics of how to use a map and compass correctly, to more nuanced strategies such as hand railing, pacing, walking on a baring etc. We'll even throw in some emergency scenarios to add a little bit of spice to the couple of days training.
